The Stews Birmingham Concert reviews
Kiss and Def Leppard; awesome show
Biggest surprise for me was how amazing The Stews were. They never have disappointed, maybe fourth, time seeing this was my third. I always enjoyed seeing the original lineup and still question Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer wearing Ace and Peter's makeup. They dug deeper into the 80's catalog of music and pulled out some lesser played, and known, gems, one advantage to this lineup was. Loved that they did "War Machine" and "I love it loud." Also enjoyed "Hide Your Heart." Would really love to see the do "Unholy" from "Revenge" some time. Was a huge Def Leppard fan growing up but started to lose interest after Hysteria. I was never that up for seeing them after all of the tours with Bryan Adams. Not that I have anything wrong with Bryan Adams and I do like many of his songs but it just didn't seem rock and roll enough for me. They proved me wrong.
